June 9, 2025 — Honeywell today announced the launch of a groundbreaking artificial intelligence (AI)-driven digital technology portfolio designed to accelerate the transformation of industrial operations from automation to autonomy. The unveiling occurred at the 49th Annual Honeywell Users Conference, where the company introduced AI-powered cybersecurity solutions aimed at fortifying operational technology (OT) environments against evolving cyber threats.
Key offerings include the Honeywell Cyber Active Defense System and the Honeywell OT Security Operations Center, which collectively aim to reduce cyberattack risks in industrial settings, enhance resilience, and support continuous operations. Additionally, Honeywell expanded its Digital Prime platform to deliver enterprise-wide solutions that enable rigorous pre-implementation testing and optimization of engineering projects. This expansion is expected to minimize plant downtime and boost productivity upon deployment.
The announcements coincide with a Honeywell survey of 300 U.S. energy-sector decision-makers, revealing that 91% believe AI holds immediate potential to strengthen energy security, while 85% report active AI adoption or piloting within their organizations.
“Industries are seeking AI-enabled enterprise solutions to adapt and make decisions in dynamic environments,” said Pramesh Maheshwari, President of Honeywell Process Control. “Our new digital technologies empower safer, more reliable, and efficient operations. As we guide customers from automation to autonomy, Honeywell’s domain expertise will help them reimagine technology’s role in driving innovation and competitive advantage.”
